Light yellow or grayish white powder. Slightly odor. A little bitter. Non-toxic. Density is 1.42-1.52g/cm3. Easily soluble in ethyl acetate, acetone, sodium hydroxide and dilute sodium carbonate solutions. Soluble in ethanol. Can be soluble in benzene. Insoluble in water and gasoline. Stable in storage.
Applications:
Suitable in NR, SNR, IIT, IR SBR, NBR, and CR. Seldom use alone, commonly with thiazokes, thiurams, dithiocarbamates and sulfenamide to promote its activity. It has quick accelerator to nature rubber and normal sulfur rubber. It is mainly in application of shoes and black and dark-colored productions for industrial usage.
