First, the voltage measurement method
Use a multimeter to test the voltage of a single cell and look for backward cells.
Advantages: simple method
Disadvantages: poor accuracy, floating state, backward battery voltage and normal voltage are not much difference, basically no law to follow.
Second, check discharge method (battery discharge instrument)
1) Check discharge with actual load.
2) Perform a discharge test using a conventional resistance box, water resistance, or PWM dummy load.
Advantages: The test is accurate and reliable. It is still an irreplaceable common detection method.
Disadvantages:
1, check the discharge time is long, the battery needs to leave the system, the risk is high.
2, need manual operation.
3, the engine room must have the conditions of the main battery.
4, can only test the whole group, not a single test.
5. Frequent testing will lead to sulfation of the battery and impair battery life.
6, only suitable for regular maintenance, not suitable for routine maintenance.
Third, the online rapid capacity testing method (battery online tester, inspection instrument) through the patrol test instrument for on-line testing of a single battery.
Advantages: simple operation, low risk, can quickly find the backward battery.
Disadvantages:
1, the accuracy is poor, only a qualitative judgment is good or bad, can not accurately measure the degree of good and bad and capacity indicators.
2. A relatively high test room environment is required, but most of the rooms are difficult to meet the requirements.
Fourth, conductance test method
Add AC voltage signals of known frequency and amplitude to both ends of the battery and measure the AC voltage with the same phase as the voltage.
Flow value, the ratio is the conductance, the general measurement frequency is 30HZ, according to the battery frequency of different capacity
Adjustment. The smaller the battery capacity, the greater the battery resistance and the smaller the conductance value.
Advantages: The test method is simple and it can accurately detect the completely dead battery.
Disadvantages: it is difficult to accurately measure the battery capacity, a large number of tests show that only after the battery capacity is reduced to 50%,
The conductance has a large change, less than 40%, and there is a significant change in conductance. So this method can only determine the battery's good
With bad, it is difficult to accurately measure actual indicators.
