In the trial production of parts such as the upper and lower races of a product system, there are always process difficulties due to large deformation due to machining stress, resulting in low product qualification rate, long production cycle, and high cost. In order to solve the narrow process of such technology to ensure the smooth progress of mass production of key projects, our company decided to use vibration aging technology to solve such technological difficulties after a large number of technical demonstrations, tests and market research.

The vibration aging process, known locally as the “VSR” method, is a process that uses the resonance principle to homogenize and eliminate the residual stress inside the metal component. It is a new technology that can replace the traditional thermal aging.

In 2005, our company introduced the “Explorer Vibration Elimination Stress Expert System” from Beijing Xiangbo Technology Co., Ltd., after installation and commissioning, sample trial processing and finally officially applied to key project batch production and hydraulic support, roadheader and other products. In production, good application results have been achieved.

1. Problems with the original process

In the products of castings and forgings, welded parts and large-scale machined parts in our products, during the process of casting, forging, welding, machining and using, due to the action of cold and thermomechanical, residual stress will be generated inside the workpiece, resulting in the internal stress of the workpiece. Unbalanced state. This causes the workpiece to have large deformation and crack quality problems due to stress. In order to solve such problems, reduce and homogenize the internal stress in the workpiece and ensure the dimensional accuracy of the workpiece, the methods adopted by our company can be roughly divided into the following two types: the first one is thermal aging, the second is natural. aging. However, they all have their own shortcomings. Hot aging requires a heat aging furnace, which is costly and pollutes the environment. It is difficult to control in process, and it is easy to produce hot brittleness; natural aging, production cycle is too long, and it is not suitable for small batch and multi-variety production.

2. Introduction of new process equipment

Our company has introduced the “Leader Vibration Elimination Stress Expert System” from Beijing Xiangbo Technology Co., Ltd., which is a national key innovation product. It integrates computer technology, communication and signal processing technology, automatic control technology and many other high-tech. The advanced spectrum harmonic vibration aging treatment method is adopted to make the treatment effect tend to be optimal.

The relaxation stiffness of the workpiece treated by this equipment is significantly improved compared with the thermal aging, and the deformation under dynamic load and static load is significantly reduced.

The equipment has obvious advantages such as high efficiency and energy saving, no pollution of three wastes, and no restrictions on the site.

3. Application of new process equipment

In the second half of 2005, the vibration aging process equipment introduced by the company began to be used in military and civilian production, and was widely used in the aging treatment of metal components such as forging, welding and machining.

3.1 The aluminum alloy forging blank used in the upper and lower races of a product produced by our company. Because the forging blank is made, the blank size is large, and the processing amount from the blank to the finished material is greatly removed, and the finished product weighs only 1/3 to 1/5 of the weight of the blank. At the same time, the part design structure is thin, the diameter is large, Φ1970-Φ1782, the cross-sectional area is small, the shape is complex, and the overall rigidity is poor. In the process of manufacturing, due to the influence of tightening force, cutting force and cutting heat, mechanical cutting stress is easily generated and thus cutting is generated. Stress deformation, upper raceway raceway Φ1884H11, [Ο 0.3] and lower raceway raceway Φ1936H11, [Ο 0.5] prototype trial production, the original process uses natural aging to remove stress, long processing cycle, seriously affecting the progress of mass production, become In the mass production, the quality and progress of the product are guaranteed to be a big problem, and many problems have not been solved, which has become the focus of the company. For this process, vibration aging is used to remove stress, two vibration aging steps are added to the upper ring, and three vibration aging processes are added to the lower ring, so that the stress of the part is gradually reduced and evenly distributed before finishing, and the stress after finishing is reduced. Release the deformation. Our company processes 40 sets of upper and lower races according to this process, and the product roundness pass rate reaches 100%. 3.2 Our company has a history of producing hydraulic supports for more than 20 years. It has a certain reputation in the market. With the demand of the market, it is required to shorten the production cycle and reduce the production cost under the premise of satisfying the product quality. This product has many welded components, such as top beam, base, connecting rod and so on. The welding produces a large residual stress and the weld bead produces microcracks. ZF3000 brackets (158), ZF3200 brackets (104), ZF7200 brackets (120), ZFSB4200 brackets (100), and ZFS2600 (83) were all replaced by vibration aging process to eliminate welding. Internal stress ensures the dimensional accuracy of the component and controls the weld bead crack. Eliminate good peak internal stress and achieve and exceed thermal aging levels in terms of structural stability. At the same time, the production cycle is greatly shortened, the production cost is significantly reduced, and the cost of saving heat is about 350,000 yuan.

3.3 Models such as EBZ-90 and EBH132 are one of the company's main products. Annual batch production. In order to improve efficiency and save costs, in 2004, the structural part process that determined the thermal aging of this product to eliminate stress was changed to vibration aging. After the actual use, like the hydraulic support structure, the stress is effectively eliminated, the welding deformation is controlled, and the effect is good. In particular, several key components with complex structures and high dimensional accuracy requirements, such as the rear box body, after vibration aging treatment, effectively control the welding deformation, meet the design requirements of the drawings, and greatly improve product quality and production efficiency.

3.4 In 2006, the vibratory aging process was also adopted in the production of various types of road rollers of our company. The vibration aging process was adopted in the process of machining the wheeled wheel body, which solved the outstanding problem of stress and deformation of the workpiece during processing, and basically guaranteed Large ring members are under stress and under controlled conditions.

4 Conclusion

Through a year of process exploration, Beijing Xiangbo Technology Co., Ltd. vibration aging process equipment has been applied in the production of military and civilian products of our company. Due to its significant advantages in performance, it has replaced many thermal aging and natural aging processes in the manufacture of metal components. It not only improves product quality, shortens production cycle, improves production efficiency and reduces production costs. Moreover, it has contributed to the batch production of key projects.
