Solar shutters that add convenience to life

Blinds are used in many applications, but most of them are just to cover the sun or to protect privacy. The Eco Leaf shutters, designed by designers L im Wan Xuan and Tang Xueling Jane, are distinguished from traditional shutters. The solar cells used in the fabrics not only function as traditional shutters but also absorb sunlight and convert them into electricity. Charging during the day can also block the sunlight, and at night, the small leaves on the curtains will glow, giving the room a warm illumination. A small monitor above can also show the temperature of the room. At the same time this Eco Leaf was nominated for the 2011 Liteon Grand Prix.
