Pakistan Anti-Dumping Tax on Hydrogen Peroxide in China

On July 6, the Pakistani Tariffs Commission (NTC) issued an announcement that the committee made an anti-dumping final ruling on the import of hydrogen peroxide and imposed a deadline for the production of products involving China, Belgium, South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, China Taiwan, and Turkey. The five-year anti-dumping duty was implemented on September 27, 2010.

Anti-dumping rates range from 3.52% to 84.48%. Among them, the anti-dumping rate applicable to exporters in mainland China is 71.93%. According to relevant provisions of the anti-dumping regulations of Pakistan, all interested parties can request NTC to disclose detailed information within 15 days after the issuance of the final announcement.

It is reported that in August 2009, Pakistan initiated anti-dumping investigations on hydrogen peroxide originating in Belgium, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey. Due to the long-term vacancy of NTC**, the final announcement was not issued until recently.
