JA Solar Informatization Reporter: Peng Zeng, Can you tell us about the informationization of solar energy at JA Solar?

Peng Yong: Before the first step in our company's informatization was to do OA and ERP, but now the main focus is the production management system, which is more emphasis on the production process and business records. In the current stage, our information department hopes to provide more support to management and meet more management needs, and allows management to see more detailed data, such as management needs companies in detail in the financial On the production data and so on.

Reporter: How about the OA application you just mentioned?

Peng Yong: At present, we have been using Pan-micro OA. This set of OA platform services include the Group, photovoltaic technology, as well as various production bases in Yangzhou, Hebei, Lianyungang, and Fengxian. In addition, sales personnel from overseas companies such as the United States and Germany are also using it. Using a total of more than 1900 users and completely covering more than 130 departments of each company is our most widely distributed system, which greatly accelerates the transfer and sharing of our information.

Reporter: We know that your pan-micro OA is integrated with Oracle ERP. Can you talk to us specifically?

Peng Yong: This piece mainly deals with the integration of financial costs. Reimbursement of the company's general management expenses such as social insurance, pensions, utilities, lease payments, property management fees, and security fees, and other cost procedures that comply with the company's management regulations, are all uniformly approved on the collaborative office platform, and data are implemented with the ERP system. Real-time circulation and interaction.

Give full play to the information system and fully train information personnel. How do you measure whether your informatization meets the needs of the business sector?

Peng Yong: First of all, I believe that informationization is not as good as possible. It depends on the company's demand for informatization, and it must enable the existing system to fully play its role. Generally, we use the following three points to measure whether it meets the needs of the business sector: 1. Regular interviews. We regularly conduct interviews with business units, and use interviews to understand the use of information systems in the business sector. There are problems that need to be improved. 2, timely optimization. Once there is a new business, we will see if we can use the existing system to solve. At the same time, we will also look at whether the original business can optimize through information systems at the same time. 3, exposed by problems. In our daily work, we use the problems exposed in the use to see if the information system is more in line with business needs.

Reporter: What do you mean by "giving full play to the existing system"?

Peng Yong: I think that the general system can be fully utilized through the following two aspects: 1. Through some projects, we can grow our own information personnel. We hope that every information personnel can be independent and fully understand the situation of each system, but at the same time, they must also be able to lead some important work, continue to handle various issues, and communicate with various business portals. 2. Use some existing resources. Let's say I have a new system requirement. I need to look at my existing system. My existing system can meet some of the requirements. If it can, we must push users to move closer to existing systems. Just follow the needs of users. In addition, we also need to do a rectification or optimization and change of existing systems to meet the needs of users. For example, we can do some deepening applications directly in existing OA.

Reporter: So, what do you focus on the information staff?

Peng Yong: I have three pieces of content that are more fancy, but also in the ability to fully develop: 1, rapid learning ability. Informatization has many new technologies and new services, and information personnel need to be able to quickly understand and grasp. 2, the ability to solve problems. Many of the problems we face have short-term solutions and long-term solutions. You must have the ability to handle different problems in different ways. You need to adopt some quicker methods to deal with emergencies; but if you have enough time to deal with problems, you should not use short-term methods to deal with them. 3, ability to take responsibility. Now our information department has a lot of work that requires individuals to take on the responsibility of the work. You have to deal with these issues, and the various business departments must communicate to each other to have a sense of dominance and responsibility for some of the work.
