India continues to increase anti-dumping duties on China's export of grinding media balls

In 2016-2017 fiscal year, India's imports of grinding media balls and steel segments increased by 86.46%

According to the results of the Sunset Review of the Anti-Dumping and Customs Union (DGAD), DGAD decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on abrasive media balls from China and Thailand (except for forged abrasive media balls).
DGAD mentioned in this month's tariff (ADD) Notice No. 34/2017: "The anti-dumping duties on grinding media balls imported from China and Thailand (except for forged abrasive media balls) can be found in Customs Notice No. 36/2017 ( ADD)".
The DGAD's anti-dumping duties will continue until July 15, 2018.
As early as July 16, 2012, DGAD issued the ADD Notice No. 36/2012, which imposed a five-year anti-dumping tax on the grinding media ball to protect the domestic industry.
The tariff for DGAD for Chinese exports is US$387.36 per metric ton, and the tariff for Thailand is US$187 per metric ton.
It is reported that the anti-dumping investigation was conducted by AIA Engineering and Webcast Steel.
The sunset review survey was released on July 4th with the 2017 grandmother, and the survey period was from April 2016 to March 2017; the damage investigation period included 2013-2014, 2014-2015, and 2015-2016.
In the 2016-2017 fiscal year, India's imports of grinding media balls and steel segments increased by 86.46%, valued at approximately $650,000, compared to only $350,000 in 2015-2016. Among them, the products from China in 2016-2017 accounted for 54%, about 350,000 US dollars.
