Conventional bearings compare the impurity test of special anti-contamination bearings made by different manufacturers Comparable impurity damage tests were also performed for special bearing products (Figures 3, 4 and 5). This life test compares a conventional product (bearing A) from a manufacturing plant with a special anti-impurity product from two or more other manufacturing plants. Here, the special anti-impurity product has a modified life of 10 times that of conventionally processed products. Three separate tests were performed (Figure 3 for Test 1, Figure 4 for Test 2, and Figure 5 for Test 3). The test conditions and bearings were different between these individual tests. Figure 3: The conventional manufacturing process bearing is compared to the life test of a special "anti-impurity" bearing from another manufacturer. The outer diameter of the bearing is 83 mm. Figure 3 shows the normalized results of the impurity damage test, the test conditions of which are identical to those tested in Figure 2. These results have been reported in previous literature. This shows that bearing A from a conventional manufacturing process of a manufacturing plant has a life test result slightly higher than that of a special anti-impurity process from another manufacturer.
