According to the relevant regulations, "labor protection articles shall be purchased by enterprises in accordance with standards and issued to employees according to different types of work." However, during the survey, the reporter found that there are a large number of construction companies that are unable to purchase “Sambo” supplies for migrant workers due to economic conditions. It is also because most migrant workers are not aware of self-protection and have chances for potential safety hazards. They have even paid for the cost of their lives: On a construction site in Jilin City, a migrant worker from Xiaogan, Hubei, is at an altitude of 80 meters. During the operation, the standard seat belts were not tied in accordance with the regulations. Only a hemp rope was tied. As a result, the migrant worker fell down due to the uneven force.
