When overhauling a three-phase asynchronous motor, if only the bearing inner ring is left in the loose bearing frame, or the distance between the coupling, the pulley and the motor end cover is too small, it will cause difficulty in disassembly. Today, Dalan Motor Editor will give you a solution to the difficulty of removing the coupling or pulley.
1. The method and steps of removing the pulley or coupling are as follows:
(1) Loosen or knock down the fixing screws on the pulley or the coupling first, and add kerosene to the contact gap between the inner hole of the pulley or the coupling and the rotating shaft to penetrate and lubricate. Then use a special gripper to enter the puller (also known as the die) to slowly pull out the pulley or coupling.
(2) If the pulley or the coupling is tightly packed or rusted, it is not easy to remove it. You can wrap the rotating shaft with a damp cloth. Use a blowtorch to quickly and evenly heat the pulley or the coupling to make it thermally expand. under.
(3) You can also use the wedge-shaped square iron to obliquely press the pulley or the inner ring of the coupling, and hit the other end of the square iron with a small hammer to remove the pulley or the coupling.
2. Two methods when installing pulleys or couplings
(1) When cold mounting, first align the keyway or screw hole. For small and medium-sized motors, place a wooden block on the end surface of the pulley or coupling, and slowly tap in with a hammer. If it is difficult to knock in, you can put a wooden block on the other end of the shaft and press it against the wall, and then knock in the pulley or the coupling.
(2) The thermal suit refers to heating the pulley or coupling with an interference fit to make it expand to a certain degree, and then take advantage of the situation to quickly put it on the rotating shaft.
